Ellié Computing Merge allows you to view or edit any
text document.
document modification indicator
When a document has been modified, a * character
appears in the tab.
cursor line indicator
When a text editor has the focus, the cursor current position
is displayed by highlighting the corresponding line in
yellow.
line numbers
If you set the options to display the line numbers, they are
shown at the left of each text editor.
line ending characters
If you set the options to display the line ending characters,
they are shown as textual code (CR or LF) at their exact
position.
status bar
The status bar shows the encoding of the file in the
current view, along with the position of the cursor (current
line, total number of lines, current column).
