File Type dialog box

 

 

The File Type options dialog box let you parameter a single file type.

Each file type bears a given name, specifies a document/comparison type and has activation conditions.

The comparison type is one of the comparison type supported by ECMerge, depending on that type other options panels are available :

• Text document type let you specifty edition properties, XML pretty printing/formatting...
• Binary document type let you define some fields to ignore

The activation condition are currently just a pattern field. A helper button placed to the right of the pattern field helps you to enter generic characters.
